Here is this week’s question:
What is your company/client’s policy for operating non load break disconnect switches under load? -NEVER operate a non load break disconnect under load even to save a life.
-Advise employees that it is their personal choice to risk operating a non load break disconnect under load in order to save a life.
-Operate a non load break disconnect if that is the quickest means to save a life.
-Your plant has E-Stops within easy reach of every disconnect so this question is irrelevant.
-Your employees never violate safety policy and never make mistakes in lockout procedures.
-Something else - curious what that would be.
